Can I use the Standard edition for free?
Yes. Standard includes image import, desktop floating windows, viewing tools, and common reference workflows for everyday use.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time purchase. After activation, you can use it long term within the license limits.
What does Pro include?
Pro includes additional reference workflows such as web image selection and import, plus advanced assist features for heavier creative work.
Will future features require another payment?
Features released within the same Pro license scope are available after you install the latest version. Separate products, cloud services, or paid add-ons will be listed separately if introduced.
How many devices can use one license key?
Each license key has a device limit. Check the checkout page or order details for the exact limit. Contact support if you replace your computer or hit an activation issue.
Can I keep using Pro after changing computers?
Yes. Activate the new device with your original license key. If the device limit has been reached, contact support for verification and help.
Are imported images uploaded to your server?
No by default. Your references, workspaces, and display settings are mainly stored on your local device unless you choose to export diagnostics or send files to us.
Can web image import recognize every website?
No. Login requirements, dynamic loading, hotlink protection, anti-scraping rules, network conditions, and website structure changes can affect recognition.
Can every web image be downloaded or used commercially?
No. PhotoAny helps you view and organize accessible images. It does not grant commercial, redistribution, or reuse rights. Check the source, copyright, and license before use.
What is the difference between pasting an image URL and web image selection?
Pasting an image URL works for direct image files such as JPG, PNG, or WebP. Web image selection scans a page for multiple accessible images so you can choose what to import.
Does PhotoAny work offline?
Imported local references and basic floating windows work offline. Activation checks, updates, web image selection, and online image import require a network connection.
Will updates affect existing workspaces?
Normal updates should not clear existing workspaces. To avoid data loss from system reinstall, disk cleanup, or accidental deletion, back up important images and project files regularly.
