• The photo must be a recent color portrait taken within the last month, accurately showing the applicant’s current appearance.
• The applicant must face the camera directly with eyes open, looking forward, maintaining a neutral expression without smiling.
• The full head and upper shoulders must be visible, with facial features clear and undistorted.
• The background must be plain light gray or white, evenly lit with no shadows, textures, or objects.
• Lighting must be soft and even, with no facial shadows, reflections, or overexposure.
• No hats or head coverings are allowed unless for religious reasons, and they must not obscure facial features.
• Clear, colorless eyeglasses are permitted, but the frames must not cover the eyes and the lenses must show no glare or tint.
• Hair must not cover the eyes or eyebrows. Long hair should be neatly arranged and not obstruct the shoulders.
• No beauty filters, skin smoothing, slimming, or digital modifications altering natural appearance are allowed.
• The photo must be sharp and free of noise, red-eye, compression artifacts, creases, or any signs of editing.
